„Summer’s End” is my last photo together with my dad. I am hugging him, squeezing his hand, kissing the hair that is growing back after chemotherapy. You can’t see it, but I have tears in my eyes. I wished so much I could keep him with me. It was the end of summer, my favorite time of year to shoot, with its beautiful warm light and long shadows. All my photo projects are made at the end of summer. This is the period I am waiting for all year. In 2018, at the end of summer, only this single photo was taken.
