Urszula Kluz-Knopek

In my activities I use installation, video and photography. I undertake problems typical of postmodernity: the relationship of nature and culture, the oppressiveness of popular culture, promoting eternal youth and physical beauty, repression of death from the consciousness of modern man, fear of the circumstances of dying. Both the artistic and social dimension of the created projects is important to me.

(born in 1985, Ustroń, Poland) She is a doctoral student at the Faculty of Intermedia on the University of Arts in Poznan. She graduated the University of Arts in Poznan and she is also bechelor of science in computer science.

For several years, she’s the owner of the Studio Bakłażan graphic studios. She is a member of STGU (Graphic Designers Association). She had scholarship of the Minister of Science and Higher Education for the best PhD students. She also works as a mentor in the project Link to the Future for Information Society Development Foundation funded by Microsoft (the aim of the project was to inspire the support of young people from small towns in planning their professional future in a broad and unconventional way).

Editor of the Woof Woof Arf Arf – is a polish magazine of art and science and curator of exhibitions.

She is interested in movement culture and nutrition that’s why she takes part in various courses from the best Polish specialists.
